Privacy policy: A11y & Social Preview Check (Figma plugin)

Last updated: 2026-10-25 · Publisher: Agent Harbor LLC, Washington, USA · Contact: brian@agentharbor.agency

Short version

The plugin runs entirely inside Figma. No data leaves Figma, except report files you choose to export to your own device. It has no network access, no analytics, no tracking and no account of its own.

What the plugin reads

When you run a check, it reads the layers in the scope you chose (your selection, the current page, or every page): layer names, types, positions and sizes, fills, strokes, opacity, blend modes, text content and text styles, prototype reactions and annotations. It uses them only to compute the results shown in the panel, in memory, while the plugin is open.

What the plugin writes

Only when you click Add alt-text note: it adds an annotation ("Alt text: …") to that layer, and may create an annotation category named "Alt text" in the file. For layer types that do not support annotations it stores the note as plugin data on the layer. Both live in your Figma file, under your control, like any other edit. Nothing else in the file is changed.

Network

The plugin's manifest sets networkAccess to ["none"], which Figma enforces: the plugin cannot contact any server, including ours. Reports you export are created in the plugin window and saved by your browser or desktop app straight to your device.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Figma's own checkout (Figma and its payment processor). The plugin never sees card or billing details; it only receives whether your account has paid for the plugin (PAID / UNPAID) from Figma's plugin API. Figma's privacy policy covers the purchase: https://www.figma.com/legal/privacy/

Children

The plugin is a professional design tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published with the plugin listing with a new date above.
