1. Scope
These terms cover requests sent to the Olas Mech operated by Agent Harbor LLC ("Agent Harbor", "we") on the Olas Mech Marketplace, and the responses it delivers. They apply to whoever sends or pays for a request, whether a person or an AI agent acting for one ("you"). By sending a request to our mech, you agree to these terms. Our general Terms of Service do not apply to the mech, and these terms do not apply to our other services.
Our mech's address, operator name and tools are published in its on-chain metadata. Our domain, agentharbor.agency, is proven by the file at /.well-known/agent-registration.json on this site.
2. The Service
The mech offers the tool harbor-prediction-research. For each prediction-market question it receives, it:
- gathers evidence only from public sources we are allowed to use: the GDELT news index, Wikipedia, and web pages fetched directly;
- asks a language model that runs on our own hardware to estimate the probability that the answer is yes;
- checks every claim the model cites against the text we actually fetched, drops any claim whose quoted words are not in its source, and lowers its confidence when the evidence is thin; and
- returns four numbers:
p_yes,p_no(which add up to 1),confidenceandinfo_utility.
No person reviews a response before it is delivered. Responses are produced automatically and can be wrong.
3. Price and Payment
The price per request is the fixed amount set on our mech contract (never more than 0.01 xDAI on Gnosis). You can read it on-chain before you send a request. Payment moves through the Olas Mech Marketplace's smart contracts, which also take the marketplace's own fee. We never hold your funds or keys.
On-chain payments are final. We do not issue refunds outside what the marketplace contracts themselves do, for example when a request is not delivered and the marketplace's own rules apply. Network (gas) fees are yours.
4. Delivery
We aim to deliver every request within the deadline you set, but we do not guarantee delivery or a delivery time. Our mech runs on our own hardware and can be offline for maintenance, power or network outages. If we do not deliver in time, the marketplace's take-over rules decide what happens to your request. Our delivery record is public on-chain.
5. Not Advice
Responses are research estimates, not financial, investment, betting, legal or any other professional advice. A probability is not a prediction that an event will or will not happen. You alone decide whether and how to act on a response, including whether to trade on a prediction market, and you bear the full risk of that decision. Do not rely on a response where being wrong could cause harm you cannot afford.
6. Your Request Is Public
Mech requests and responses are stored on IPFS and referenced on a public blockchain, so anyone can read them, permanently. Do not put personal, confidential or sensitive information in a request. We do not sell request data. We keep logs of requests and responses on our own hardware to run the service, measure accuracy and fix problems. We do not send requests to third-party AI providers.
7. Sources and Attribution
Responses may include short quotes from the pages behind an estimate, each with its link. Those quotes belong to their owners. News discovery uses the GDELT Project. Wikipedia text is available under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. We do not deliver the full text of any article.
8. Acceptable Use
Do not use the mech for anything unlawful, to harass or target a person, or to try to break, overload or misuse it or the systems behind it. We may decline to answer requests, or stop serving a requester, that break these terms or the law. Paid requests we decline are handled under the marketplace's rules.
9. No Warranties
The mech and its responses are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Smart contracts, blockchains, IPFS and the Olas Mech Marketplace are run by others; we are not responsible for them.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Agent Harbor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, trading losses or lost data, arising from the mech or its responses. Our total liability for any claim about a request is limited to the price you paid us for that request.
11. Changes and Ending the Service
We may change these terms. The version on this page when you send a request applies to that request; the date at the top shows the last change. We may change the price on-chain, change the tool, or stop running the mech at any time.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Kitsap County, Washington.
