Privacy policy: Schema & AI-Crawler Inspector (browser extension)

Effective: 26 October 2026. Applies to version 2.0.0 and later for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Publisher: Agent Harbor LLC, Washington, USA. Contact: brian@agentharbor.agency. This text is published at https://agentharbor.agency/privacy/inspector/ (the URL given to the stores).

Summary

The extension runs its checks inside your browser. It sends nothing to us. It has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no remote code. We do not sell, rent or share data, and we have no server that receives data from the extension. The one outside service it contacts is ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), our payment provider, and only in the Chrome and Edge editions: once you have opened the Pro purchase or login page, the extension asks extensionpay.com whether your installation has paid each time you open the popup or the Pro page, sending a random installation key (and, like any web request, your IP address). See "Payments" below. The Firefox edition never contacts ExtensionPay.

What the extension reads, and when

  • When you click the toolbar button (free, all browsers): the page in the current tab (its JSON-LD blocks, meta tags, <link> canonical and hreflang tags and title), and three requests to that same website: /robots.txt, /llms.txt, and the page's own URL again to read its response headers (X-Robots-Tag, Link). These requests go from your browser to that website only, without your cookies. The results are shown in the popup and are not stored, unless you use Pro history (below).
  • Pro bulk scan (Chrome and Edge): the same checks for the tabs you select or the URLs you paste. Your browser first asks you to allow access to those sites (or to all sites while a selected-tabs scan runs); by default the extension gives that access back when the scan ends. Requests go from your browser straight to those websites, without cookies.

What is stored, and where

  • Pro history (Chrome and Edge, Pro only): the results of your scans (URL, page title, time, and the check results; never page contents) are kept in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local), capped at 300 scans or about 3 MB, oldest first out. You can delete one scan or clear all of it on the Pro page, and uninstalling the extension deletes it. It never leaves your device.
  • Pro status (Chrome and Edge): the ExtensionPay library (ExtPay.js) keeps, in chrome.storage.sync (or chrome.storage.local where sync storage is unavailable): a random API key for your installation, the install date, and the user record ExtensionPay returns (the key and the user record exist only after you have opened the Pro purchase or login page), which includes your paid status, plan and, once you have bought Pro or logged in, the email address you gave ExtensionPay. chrome.storage.sync is synced by your browser to your other signed-in browsers if you use browser sync. The extension's own code does not display, use or send that email; it only reads whether you have paid.
  • The free popup stores nothing.

Payments (Chrome and Edge, Pro only)

Pro is sold through ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), which uses Stripe to take payments. When you choose to buy or log in, ExtensionPay's pages open in a tab; you enter your email and card details there, not in the extension. Stripe processes payments under its privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). ExtensionPay does not publish a privacy policy that we could find as of 2026-10-25 (its /privacy and /terms addresses returned errors); ask them directly about data they hold. What the Chrome and Edge editions send to ExtensionPay, free or paid:

  • Until you open the Pro purchase or login page, nothing: the ExtensionPay library only records the install date in your browser.
  • When you first open the purchase or login page, the library asks extensionpay.com for a random installation key (the request body is empty, apart from a flag in a developer install), and the page opens in a tab.
  • From then on, each time you open the popup or the Pro page, the library sends that installation key to extensionpay.com and receives your paid status, plan and the email you gave them.
  • These requests come from your browser, so extensionpay.com sees your IP address, as with any web request.
  • In Chrome and Edge, ExtensionPay's script also runs on extensionpay.com's own pages, so the extension learns when a payment completes. It does not run on any other website.

The extension uses ExtensionPay's answer only to switch Pro on or off and does not send it anywhere else. The Firefox edition contains no ExtensionPay code and makes none of these requests. Agent Harbor LLC receives, through its Stripe and ExtensionPay accounts, what any seller receives for a sale: your email, the plan, the amount, the country/postcode needed for sales tax, and the payment status. We use it only to provide Pro, handle refunds and support, and keep the records tax law requires.

The Firefox edition

The Firefox edition is free and has no Pro, no ExtensionPay, no history and no storage. It declares to Mozilla that it collects and transmits no data (data_collection_permissions: none).

Permissions, in plain words

activeTab and scripting (read the tab you click on), storage (Pro history and Pro status; Chrome/Edge only), and optional access to http and https sites, requested only for a Pro bulk scan (Chrome/Edge only). The Firefox edition asks only for activeTab and scripting.

Children

The extension is a tool for website owners and is not directed at children.

Your choices and rights

Clear Pro history at any time on the Pro page; remove the extension to delete everything it stored. For anything held by ExtensionPay or Stripe about a purchase, or any privacy question, email brian@agentharbor.agency. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at the same URL with a new effective date before the changed extension version is released.
