Reject & Verify: support

Email: support@agentharbor.agency. We read every message; this is a small product from a small company, so please allow a few days.

What it does

It clicks "reject" on cookie banners it recognises, sends the Global Privacy Control signal, and then shows, on your device, which known trackers still contacted your browser after the reject. Free; nothing leaves your device.

Common questions

It says "No banner found". There was no banner it could see in about 13 seconds: you may already have made a choice on that site, or the banner is inside another site's frame (not reachable in this version), or it is a type it doesn't recognise.

It says "Couldn't reject here". A banner is there but there is no reject control it can use, or the reject button did not change the page. The popup says which. It never guesses and never clicks "Accept". Some banners only react to a real mouse click (a security measure the extension cannot imitate); on those, click Reject yourself.

"Rejected · 0 known trackers so far" means the site is fine? No. It means none of the trackers in our small list contacted your browser after the reject click, so far, on that visit. Unlisted hosts, tracking from the site's own domain and tracking done on its servers are not counted. Trackers we don't list are shown as unclassified; some cookies (HttpOnly, third-party) are invisible to an extension. It is an observation, not a legal assessment.

It clicked something that was not a cookie banner. When a banner is recognised only by its button labels (no known consent platform), the popup says which button it pressed. If that was a mistake, pause the site and email us the site name. In our own synthetic tests, 1 of 18 non-cookie dialogs (a deliberately tricky look-alike) was clicked by mistake.

A page looks different or a site stopped working. Click the toolbar button and "Pause on this site" (or turn the extension off with the switch). Then email us the site name and what happened.

Turn it off. The "On" switch in the popup removes everything the extension added: its scripts, the GPC header rule and the request watching. Pages that are already open keep the navigator.globalPrivacyControl property until you reload them. Pausing a site does the same for that site.

Firefox: Firefox sends the Global Privacy Control signal itself when you enable it in Settings > Privacy & Security. Reject & Verify does not set it there. If the popup shows "Allow access to all sites", press it: Firefox lets you withdraw site access.

Edge / Chrome after install: pages that were already open need a reload before they are checked ("Not checked yet").
